EduSafe’s #1 Goal:
Make. Schools. Safer
EduSafe holds to the belief that real change and improvement to school safety & security starts with school leaders engaging in the purposeful rebuilding of their school’s, and community’s, cultures. Implementing all of the greatest and most advanced security products and technologies will not prevent these tragedies; or more importantly, we still won’t be getting to the root of the threats plaguing our Nation. Having the right products and technologies in place are essential redundancies for protecting students and staff’s overall well-being, but these alone will always keep us on the reactive side of threats, not the proactive side.
These threats are manifested out of a culture that stimulates emotional pain and suffering with no where to turn for essential human connection. By initiating, and meaningfully engaging in, programs and practices that focus on reestablishing human connections and creating the cultures that can greatly reduce the tragedies affecting the lives of too many innocent students, staff, and communities.
EduSafe’s Steps Towards Safer Schools
Step 1: Understand how threats are born, educate school leaders and staff on programs, practices, and protocols for mitigating and managing threats, and develop comprehensive strategies to build robust protective ecosystems.
Step 2: Educate, advise, and assist school leaders, staff, and community partners with employing those strategies into actionable processes, procedures, and implementations that establish redundant layers of protective measures.
Step 3: Continually train and assess all essential personnel in their respective roles, in both proactive and reactive performance functions, as well as to facilitate bridging the gap between the school and community partners for responsive operations.

EduSafe Managing Partner
Chris Ades
Chris is a former U.S. Army Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) technician and CIA security contractor. He spent fifteen years traveling around the world, protecting personnel and facilities from the numerous potential attacks by those wishing to cause chaos and tragedy; not so different from the unwarranted attacks against our children & schools. After suffering a career ending back-injury in 2021, and as society continued experiencing more violent attacks against innocent people, he began security consulting for public & private entities and instructing on firearms and tactics. In late 2022, he joined a K-12 focused, start-up security technology company as the CSO & COO. During his time in this role, he realized the incredible need that public schools have for enhancing safety & security and the only way to truly protect children & school staff was to work directly for them, not a company. In early-2024, he started EduSafe Group because he realized the great need for truthful, knowledgable, and experienced security practitioners to help advise school leaders (and state policy makers) on safety & security products, technologies, and protective implementations for their students, staff, and community.
